The spring of 2009 Rudi Skotheim Jensen will be working with Miguel Angel Cordoba and Luis Javier Cordoba for their new performance "Doble Mandoble" as their artistic director.
The two performers are identically twins, and have a circus, theatre and magic/illusionist background. They graduated from ESAC in Brussels and for the last three years they have been touring with the company "Hopla Circus" through out the world.
With the creation, "Doble Mandoble", the artists will be looking into identity and it's many various viewpoints, but escaping the trap of a human-identity drama. The form or dramaturgy of this performance will be like a mind map, where one thing leads to another.
The creation is supported by; Espace Catastrophe (Brussels, Belgium), La Roseraie (Brussels), Latitude 50º (Marchin, Belgium), Festival Trapezi (Reus, Spain), La Cascade (Bourg-Saint-Andéol) and Humorologie (Marke-kortrijk, Belgium).
Creation period January to June 2009, with the premiere 4 of June 2009 at Centre Culturel Jacques Frank, Brussels, Belgium.
